The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is one of the most well-known and straightforward routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers comfortable, hut-based accommodations throughout the trek, making it a popular choice for those seeking a more relaxed climb. The 5-day itinerary provides an excellent opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Kilimanjaro, from the lush rainforest to the striking alpine desert, culminating in the unforgettable achievement of reaching Uhuru Peak.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), you’ll be greeted by the sight of Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, towering majestically. After clearing customs and immigration, our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. The drive will take about an hour. Once at the hotel, you’ll check in, freshen up, and meet your guides for a detailed briefing about the climb. This is an excellent time to ask any questions regarding the trek, gear, or safety protocols.
